Research Summary

Dr. Wouter’s research focuses on developing quantitative and qualitative decision-support tools for industrial development-related decision-making. These tools aim to shed light on the environmental, social and economic impacts of different developmental pathways. The tools also uncover the feasibility of developmental routes, and the actions stakeholders need to take to enable them. More recently, UBCO School of Engineering featured his research in assessing the impact of resource extraction.
