As Rosenblatt Professor, Dr. Patrick Kirchen will research sustainable fuels for ship propulsion, gathering real-world data on how different fuel options may apply to different maritime applications.
Dr. Patrick Kirchen is an associate professor and an Associate Head at UBC Mechanical Engineering and the principal investigator of Thermochemical Energy Conversion Lab.
